Covid-19 brought about challenges that if not recorded; we would have no way of explaining ourselves to the generation of 2045: why we rocked up lumpy, full of illness, and out of breath. Slowly but surely, out of the shadows, Maties gymnasium facilities clawed its way back to having its doors open. We were expecting a hoard of members to come rushing through the doors and were met with only a few guys and girls who we could see have all their ducks in a row.
We will however roll our eyes and ignore them (for now), and focus on nothing, but the shape of your new neglected body embedded into that couch, as you are now unable to pull yourself out.
BUT, being the resilient person that you are, and with 2022 well underway, right now is the perfect time to be everything that you dreamed about being. Starting with one step at a time. Prioritize your life into sectors that need attending to. A healthy mind and body should be right up there on the priority list. Investing in yourself should be of utmost importance.
Life is full of bad choices, so let us save you some time by alerting you that you are not able to undertake this journey alone. People need each other, we’re social beings by nature after all.
